Terms of Service

1. What SynRx is

SynRx organises the NMC CBME curriculum for MBBS students and adds study tools: competency search, AI-generated summaries, learning objectives, study plans and practice questions, an AI study assistant, progress tracking, links to textbooks and videos, and community notes. The service is currently free. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

3. AI-generated content

Much of the content on SynRx is written by AI. It can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even when it sounds confident. Check anything important against standard textbooks and your teachers. If you find a mistake, use Report an issue so we can fix it.

4. Your account

• Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your login secure.
• One account per person. Don’t share your account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s consent to use SynRx.

5. Community notes and reports

Notes you post are public and show your name. You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to display, store and moderate it on SynRx.

Don't post anything that:

• includes patient details or anyone’s personal information,
• is abusive, harassing, hateful or sexual,
• copies copyrighted material such as textbook pages or paid question banks,
• is spam, advertising, or deliberately misleading medical information.

We may edit or remove notes and act on accounts that break these rules. You can report notes that do.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• scrape, bulk-download or copy SynRx content to build another product,
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the service,
• misuse the AI features, for example by automating large numbers of requests,
• use SynRx for anything illegal.

7. Content and intellectual property

The competency framework comes from the publicly available NMC CBME curriculum. The SynRx site, design, code, and the way content is organised and generated belong to us. You may use SynRx for your own studies; please don't resell or redistribute its content.

We link to textbooks and third-party videos (such as YouTube). We don't control that content and aren't responsible for it.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the service or put other users at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you why.

9. No guarantees and limits on liability

SynRx is provided “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always online.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for exam results, academic outcomes, clinical decisions, or any indirect loss arising from your use of SynRx. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that can't be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and let you know in the app or by email if the change is significant. If you keep using SynRx after that, the new terms apply.

11. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
